Our story
Company History
Standard Structures, Inc. began in 1994 with three men moving from the metal building construction world to that of manufacturing and supplying metal buildings and components. With each having decades of experience in the industry they started Standard Structures, Inc. to make buildings and components with contractors in mind, while maintaining a wide-open door to the public. Over the years we have reached into ever major construction segment: agricultural, commercial, industrial, schools, churches, aero, residential, and of course the do-it-yourselfer.
In 2017 with more than 20 years’ experience, we broke ground on our Lubbock/New Deal Location expanding not only our capacity, but our product offerings as well to better compete in the ever-evolving metal building industry. In addition to the tried-and-true products that served us well for years, we added a full line up of standing seam and architectural products made in house, right here in Texas.
New things on the horizon for Standard Structures, Inc. include an all new and larger frame fabrication shop at the Lubbock/New Deal location. With this we will not only expand our capacity but also bring jobs to community surrounding us in New Deal and the Greater Lubbock area.
